Gameplay and getting going

From this experience I learnt that Party Pete is perhaps a crook and uses the Party Room to swindle disillusioned players out of their hard earned cash, he collects their cash and logs everyone out so he can sell the proceeds to finance his lavish lifestyle, I suspect he learnt this from the noobs who kicked players from their houses when they were poisoned or dropped items on the floor when construction was first introduced. more »

I am currently playing with new skins for my blog, take a look at the gameplay blog and have a look at the new skin, there are small tweaks that need doing but it is a lot cleaner than the current default one. I would like any comments about the skin… more »

I created my new character and trained on rats and was amazed how quickly my levels were going up, my levels were great going up at a rate of knots but wondered why I wasn't hitting any harder, having a look at my interfaces I noticed that my attack was 10 and my other stats hadn't moved, I then started playing and changed attack style and my other stats started to rise, this is when I learnt how to change attack style.Even though I could train my other styles I still wasn't sure what I was doing and what it meant I just trained it because it made sense to me to keep them equal. more »

weapon of choice to kill Dark Beasts but a whip will work fairly well, you can use Guthans but you will take a lot of damage and be using the spear a lot and therefore slow training down considerably, I always wear a ring of wealth fighting Dark Beasts because they drop dark bows. more »

It all worked OK so I decided to do a slayer task full screen, I had 77 Steel Dragons, I was a bit concerned as a lag there can prove fatal but I had very little lag so gave it a go, and wooooah it was great, the screen is huge everything you are fighting is bigger, im not sure if you can see more area than the normal screen but the fact that everything is bigger makes it easier to pick up items, easier to click a monster and in all it is easier, not only this the fact that there is greater detail really makes a great playing experience. more »
