Gameplay and getting going

The last Grandmaster quest was a Grandmother quest this Grandmaster quest has the right to be called a Grandmaster, the quest was quite easy to start with nothing that a few prayer pots couldnt help with, apparently using piety stops the fog from choking you in the explosives room, I had curses enabled so couldnt use piety I took a few sharks for the chesty cough, I also wore a face mask but that didnt help.

The fight was fun but boy was it scary, I was shaking like a leaf when I had finished, I watched a few videos on youtube most used range and completetd it with no pots spare and familiars dropping food and pots, I then found this vid.

 

 

The first person who tried to melee that I watched, because he had lots of pots left over at the end I copied his technique plus a few additions of my own.

I didnt have a godsword so went to GE and bough a Bandos one, this surprisingly bought immediatly, I couldnt use overload pot so had extreme attack and strength, cant make Steel Titans so took a Iron Titan and scrolls, I also used lunar spells to venge myself before entering, also venged myself in game waiting for his special attack of 98hp.

So I was venged, had bandos on special, had prayer set to Turmoil curse and titan ready to "Iron within", potted up and went in, I started chatting to Nomad and the fight began, good hit from my bandos reducing his defence, a good hit from my titan and not sure what happened to vengence all happened so quickly, I kept supping my brews and super restores like there was no tomorrow, his health was shooting down mind you my pots were going down just as quick, got him nice and low and he ate, so stared again he was back to 1/2 health, as I got near the end of my super restores I had plenty of sara's, I drank my last sip of super restore and had about 4 brews left, I was expecting it to end very quickly with me being sent out with my tail between my legs but no I drank my sara and used my remaining sips of extreme to bring my stats back up, I also got a few specs from my titan without which I would have been killed first, Nomad Died, (or so it seems) me the victor with my trusty Titan by my side.

This quest will sort the men from the boys, people need to earn the quest cape now.

 

 

A bit of a dissapointment of a reward, some zeal points for some xp in all the skills I have maxed, just like Blood runs Deep, quests for "high level" players but rewards for middle level players, I can get some use out of the zeal for charms but players with 99 summoning not a lot for them, but thats a different post altogether.

 

 

The Cape is pretty good, looks  plain red or blue velvet just like your grandparents curtains but with a nice 12 prayer bonus, plus 8 bonus for all defence, this being 1 less defence than a skill cape and 8 more prayer bonus than a trimmed skill cape, ideal for those  dangerous boss fights or wildy clues.
