God wars God K’ril Tsutsaroth just got owned bigtime
I was taking a well earned coffee break and decided to have a look at the big boss at Godwars, it was a suicide mission and I decided to range him with minimal items just to see how difficult it is.
I have read on the Official Runescape knowledge base that K’ril Tsutsaroth the boss in the Zamorak Temple can one hit kill anyone who uses protection prayer against him but I though what the hell and went for it, if I died I only lose a few things.
I saw that a mate was on so I asked him if he wanted to come along on a suicide mission to see the bosses at God Wars and he was more than happy to have a pop, his agility is a bit feeble so we decided to go for the Zamorak temple the only one he could get to.
I didn't have a clue what to wear so I had full black d hide crystal bow ring of wealth, 1 super anti poison, 5 prayer pots, tele tab the rest sharks and clean undies.
I teled to trollheim, legged it past the thrower trolls and moved the big boulder that blocks the way to the dungeon, ran past the nasties and went north to get to the zammy area. in the zammy area I continued to get my 40 kill count required before I am judged worthy to get to the big boys, this is easiest by killing imps.
My friend was trying to find a guide to help us along the way and found a rather sketchy one that gave a few pointers, the information he got was to run to the north east corner with protect melee on, which we did and we were not alone we were followed by a
big bundle of red nastiness with the sole intention of removing our limbs and spreading them around the room.
We were both in the corner, my friend thinks quicker than me and stood next to me so we could see our hitpoints, we started to range him, first of all it made no impact but as time went by we managed to lower him down in HP and killed him, I cant remember what the drop was but it was carp so I left it, we started to kill the other monsters that were no problem, when K’ril Tsutsaroth came back we owned him again what a big girly we owned him twice im a 125 my friend is a 112 and he is a 650, what a big fat girly quitter!
He is not so girly he hit me down to about 10 hp at one stage, I took a 43 and a 39 in a row, he is one mean mother
but not a match for me and my mate.
When we were ranging him he was hitting us at the same time so we might as well have taken a whip, I think I will take a whip and proselyte armour next time maybe a Sara book to protect me from the Sara monsters when we enter. the idea of going to the north east corner was good because the other monsters that range and mage could not attack us, its a shame because there is what looks to be an alter on the other side we could use to save on prayer pots.
We will keep plodding on and try different tactics and report back here so book mark and return again for the next exciting installment.
Best route to level melee combat
I am often asked what order to level melee combat skills.
The answer to that is not straight forward but there is a definite best way to do it, this is likely to differ from the way you want to train it due to the fact that people like to see immediate visible results.
Its a good idea to train all stats equally but if you want a skill cape the quickest way is to train attack then strength then defence.
Training attack first will make more of your hits count, if you hit more often your xp will go up quicker than if you hit occasionally hard, I would sooner hit 3, 30's out of 5 than 2, 35's out of 5, work out the maths for yourself, its not always that easy with the Runescape random generator coming into effect but over the period of a level there will be a definite advantage in training attack, another benefit over strength is you can use a whip to train and this is again a lot quicker than any other weapon for training.
Then strength next, now you can hit as often as possible lets make every hit as hard as you can make it, because your attack is maxed you will be able to hit your max more often, as you increase your strength level your max hit will increase but the attack level will make more of your hits count and increase the amount of xp.
Defense is next this will allow you to fight for longer because you will be taking less damage, defence is important and with maxed attack and strength you will be hitting your max hit as often as possible and this will increase your xp and defence will now increase a lot more rapidly than if you trained it first.
Using pots and super pots/sets will speed up your level increases by a lot, dress with maximum attack and strength bonuses, training slayer as you go will also help to break up the monotony and get you xp in another skill at the same time.
Use a whip for attack and defence and a d scimmy or d long for strength.
I have left hp because this is difficult to train independently and will go up as you train the other skills.
Prayer is easy to train but can work out expensive, getting to level 70 will not take long and not cost a great deal if using a gilded altar or the ectophunctus, prayer will increase your combat level and can help you fight for short periods but is not good for prolonged fighting without using expensive prayer pots.
The reason I say this method may not be the way you want to train it is because people like to see high hit numbers when they fight, the fact that these number are not very often does not change the fact that they have hit hard.
The easiest way to train is to do it for fun, do it because you enjoy doing it and your level will shoot up effortlessly
How to loot in Runescape - a profesionals guide
I was at Lumbridge basement ready to do a trip to Tears of Guthix and there was a player with full black mystic, he was stood by the hole for the underground mine and was being attacked by a swarm. when I got there he was about 10 hp so I stood underneath him and see what I could get if he died.
I stood there for a few minutes and sure enough he died, I was stood on top of him with about 5 or 6 others so I didn't expect to get much but would have been happy to get anything for free, Phree Stuf pl0x, (Soz for my poor attempt at the noob begger language).
And looky here what I got.

I got all the cash from his alchs that he had started I got all the nats, all the yew longs, rune boots and mystic hat, the top row was the items I was taking to guthix all the rest was donated.
It looks to me like I got everything, I can not be sure but I certainly got some good stuff, why did I get most if not all of the stuff.
A tip from the master, well im not a master ive only had this happen a few times when there was a lot of people around, the last time I was in world 2 and a chap died with millions of gp's worth of stuff, it all piled on the floor and all I got that time was an archer helm.
MY tip the tip from the top is to take your time and don't just click franticly, there is a click rate set by Jagex that is the optimum speed to click to pick things up, you can practice this by picking flax to get the best speed, just clicking at flax quickly will not get you more flax, try to click at flax so you always get some when you click, there are other things you can practice on but I cant think of any at the moment.
I use this principle when getting snape grass people are there clicking constantly to beat me to the grass, I wait until it appears then click, 9 times out of 10 I get it.
There is a lesson to be learned from this and its not how to benefit from peoples deaths, its how to stop people from benefiting from your death, 10k could have saved this player 3m gp by taking a simple precaution, if you are skilling or not fighting for drops wear a ring of life, they cost about 10k or you can make your own, ive always got mine on just in case I lag or log caused by my computer the internet connection or Jagex servers, instead of losing his belongings he would have teled to Fally, Lumby or Camelot and timed out safely.
So practice safe skills wear a ring of life.
Runescape Gold for Real Life Money
We have adverts on this site to help cover the cost of the hosting, these adverts are targeted to the content available on our site and often include Runescape gold for real life money, Runescape gold for money is against the rules in Runescape and can very easily result in you losing your account and the Runescape money you have just bought.
Jagex also disapprove of fansites advertising Runescape gold, as a responsible player I am constantly adding filters to remove these sites from our adverts but as new ones come out regularly it is impossible to remove them all.
I have had a look at some of these suppliers of Runescape gold and the price they charge is not a lot per million but soon adds up when you go for 500m, 500m sells for 100's of $'s, most people can buy a few million that may get you a ranger set, some people may be able to spend $200 and get 500m gp, lets look at a possible (Likely) scenario.
You spend $200 and get 500m, you have a level 58 character you trade with your supplier a level 3 player called ssddyy0016 (for example), you have your Runescape GP your bank now has 500m sitting in it, god that looks good you go out and buy a phat and full dragon and still have money left you buy 50k d bones for your prayer cape you always wanted, you log off and go to bed.
You wake up in the morning all excited about buying your magic logs for fletching and you cant get on, your heart stops you check your Runescape account and appeal offence/ban you put in your appeal and wait.
What has happened over night (It may not be over night but can take a few days or even weeks) Someone has reported a BOT for macroing, the bot has handed all the logs to the account owner who has sold them on world 2, the player that sold them for cash on world 2 is the one that sold the cash to you for real life cash, Jagex have investigated the bot (Bare in mind this is automated so it is just waiting for its time in the queue to be investigated) and noticed the IP address is the same as many other players that have been reported with a similar name, all these bots have traded with another account and transfered a large number of items, this player has recently sold a large amount of items in world 2, this player has also traded with many players giving them cash in an obviously one sided trade, there is only one reason these series of events can occur real world trading so all involved parties are banned.
So from reporting 1 bot of many 10's or even 100's Jagex can and will trace it back to you and you will get banned.
You recieve the message from Jagex that your account is permanently banned and your appeal has been rejected.
You have lost $200 and your original accounts by trying to cheat at a game, is it worth it?
Lets take another look at the bot problem.
You are working on an account and want to train woodcutting you train it hard and get level 85 to cut mages, at the moment you are fine magic logs sell for 1k each as the bots increase in number the supply of logs will exceed demand and the price will drop with all the bots competing for the cash, the end result this skill you have trained hard to get is not worth the cash anymore so all your work has gone to waste, although I mentioned woodcutting it is the same with all selling skills.
These bots working for the cheaters are spoiling the game, its a game play it don't pay it or there wont be a game to play.
How to be a newb without being a noob
The word noob no longer means what it used to!
Noob used to mean a new player, over the years the word noob has been changed and its meaning generally means a player who does stupid things, does annoying things or generally acts the fool, a noob can be a noob on purpose or a noob can be by accident just by not being aware of certain aspects of the situation and acts inappropriately.
This post will be an ongoing post and regularly updated to include ways to avoid being a noob in Runescape.
Because noob has been redefined the original noob meaning a new players has been assigned the name of newb.
To avoid being a noob.
1/ Do not do random trades, do not trade someone unless you want to buy something they have advertised or they have traded you to buy something you have advertised, just because someone has a granite maul doesn't mean they want to trade it for your full steel.
2/ Do not add players to your friends list just because they have helped you with something, you may ask if you can add them, do not be offended if they say no their list may be full or they may have enough friends as it is.
3/ Do not PM random players because they don't respond to you when speaking in public, if they don't answer you they may be busy, not want to talk or may have public chat off for a reason, also do not pm random players asking if they want to buy something, have something to sell or to ask the price of something.
4/ Do not pester other players by continually asking the same question, do not call them a noob just because they wont don't or cant answer.
5/ Have consideration for other players, If a player is thieving from an NPC (Non Player Character) find another one to kill do not kill the one they are thieving.
6/ DO NOT BEG, begging is one of the most annoying things in Runescape, instead of begging make the items you want yourself, its a lot quicker and you get experience at the same time.
7/ Do not spam the chat box, keeping repeating the same sentence over and over again will annoy other players and make them more determined not to respond favourably.
8/ Do not call other players noob just because they don't do what you want the people who call everyone noobs are normally the noobs themselves.
This is it for now if anyone has any I have missed please add as a comment, if I agree I will add it to this post if not I will leave it as a comment.
