Back to my Roots Runescape quest

I started the Back to my Roots quest yesterday, quite an interesting quest, not extra long but still quite fun.
The aim of the quest is to get a root from the middle of a vine with nasty monsters, one being a level 51 soldier ant that can hit 15's, that is 1 wicked punch for such a little insect, just like real life I guess. many of the animals there are venomous so anti poison is advised.
There is no obvious destination in the vine but you need to make your way across the water to an area where there are patches you can dig up then take a cutting and put it in a sealed pot.
You go back to Ardougne and plant it, it goes ape and starts attacking people, it is then your responsibility to chop it down with a wc axe, it took me ages before I even damaged it then it started to lose bits and eventually sat there waiting for me to finish it off, secateurs (sp) were used for that I think.
Some very good xp in slayer, wc and farming as a reward for this quest.
I was given a seed to plant to grow my own which I believe to be the minigame, the gardener will look after it for some wildblood hops, I never had any so just let it grow, still waiting so not sure what to do with it yet.
After completing this quest you are left with a hand and no indication what to do with it, you need to return to the maze on Karamja and kill the monsters until you get the rest of his body, left and right arm, left and right legs, torso and a foot, 7 parts with the hand from the quest, speak to Zavistic the wizard at the wizards tower in Yanille and he will ask for more evidence to convict Sandy, he will if you want tele you to sandy's office where you need to search his desk and take his diary, return this to Zavistic and give it to him, he will give you 100 laws as a thank you, you are then able to bury the remains in a cut scene and you recieve 10k mage xp.

Other News
Just a little taster for the very near future I have a guide on Herblore written by a level 99 herbalist, its very comprehensive and covers every aspect from getting herbs and secondaries to making them and return on investment issues, I am just adding the finishing touches now but it makes a very interesting read.
Slayer series
My slayer reports have taken a back seat because of my computer crash but I will be resuming shortly.
