My Runescape Diary

I went to do some agility yesterday with the sole intention of getting pked, I got to the course and there was a player same level as me, she was skulled so I could have killed her and got her rune sword, instead I just trained and was waiting for her to attack, my dd++ was set to spec all the time, I had a full inventory of sharks, a mage bow with 200 mith arrows and full black dragon hide.

I could see her waiting to see my hp level as I went passed the skeletons, she would then carry on, unfortunately I do not take much damage there because of my relatively high agility level so my hp was almost full, I took a few falls and didn't eat to give her the impression of no food, she did a few tricks to get me to attack her so I would get skulled but I wasn't playing ball, she asked my agility level and I told her and that was the last I saw of her.

Having checked her stats she was 99 strength and 99 attack but only 80 defence, so provided i could survive her attacks which was quite likely with all my sharks I could have caused her a lot of damage.

Anyway that was not the Highlight of my day, I was quite comfortable in the wildy now I understand it a bit more so I thought I would take on the King Black Dragon so off I went.

I wore black dragon hide took my anti dragon breath shield loads of sharks and ring of life, I potted up before setting off and bought my axe from Bobs axes at Lumbridge, I thought to save being attacked melee I would take my Crystal Bow, I chopped the canoe tree and made a wakka canoe and off I sailed through the dripping tunnel under the wilderness and came out by the mossies, I ran north west through the green dragons and into the enclosure with the lesser demons went down the ladder where I was quickly poisoned by the spiders.

Now for the fight, I got my prayer ready mage because I was going to range and hopefully have no contact, I sipped my anti fire breath pot equipped crystal bow and pulled the lever, I found him and started to attack, he hit me massively, I was down to 10 hp in seconds, no chance to eat I hit my house teleport tablet, teled to my house I was 10 hp or there abouts but was safe if I died in my house no harm would come of me.
So I was safe was I? no think again I had been poisoned, my ring of life stepped in and teled me to falador, out of the sanctity of my home sweet home and into the cruel cruel world of Runescape and the lesser mortals that wander the white knight castle, had I taken another poison hit or 2 maybe I would have lost my fight for life and a free for all of sharks and my black dragon hide armour would have resulted in mass hysteria from the noobs slaughtering the white knights.

Sorry guys Santa hasn't come early I had my anti poison with me and one sip deprived many hopefuls from a feast of sharks.

I then had time to think wtf had happened, was the kbd more of a match than I had anticipated, looking in my inventory I noticed a dragon fire shield, then it twigged what a pr*tt with a capital P I was, I could not believe it anti fire breath shield in inventory, big three headed fire breathing dragon snug as a bug in a rug in his lair in deep wildy, I knew I took that shield for a reason, to prevent barbecued me could well be the reason.

I decided to go back this time I was going equipped to fight a fierce fire breathing dragon, so I took full black dragon hide not to show him what is going to happen to him in a minute but for some protection, I took a D scimmy in case I got pked, not likely to lose it as I am not getting skulled but didn't fancy taking a whip, ANTI FIRE BREATH SHIELD so I don't get ko'd straight away, 2 prayer pots and an anti fire breath pot.

I got a steel axe from Bob went to Lumby bank and potted up with a superset and super anti poison put the pots back in the bank then filled my inventory with sharks and caught a canoe to deep wildy

This time I was ready I ran in and our eyes met, I could see he was not happy but I soldiered on and attacked him, first hit was a zero, second was a zero I rained zero's on him for what seemed an eternity then I hit a 20, I had protect from melee prayer on and sipped an anti fire breath pot before entering and I was invincible, this the king of the dragons only hitting 10 on me max but mainly zero's.

This is him the king of all dragons in his lair.

The king and I, I could see by the look in his eye he wasn't happy.

I continued raining blows on him with the occasional hit I was on my last sip of prayer pot he was on half health and something changed I started to hit him and hurt him, and he was on quarter health as my pray pot had gone but for some reason ever 3rd or fourth hit caused damage, then the fight was over I dealt the last blow just as my prayer ran out.

I still had half an inventory of sharks left.

The spoils black dragon hide dragon bones and 24 oyster pearls, big deal.

Summary the king black dragon is scary and very tough to kill, but he is not as strong as his reputation makes us believe.

I went again with another 2 prayer pots and beat him to his last hp and my food ran out, my ROL took me away when I returned within minutes 2 players were there and were fighting another 1, I lost my kill, bottom. I stayed and fought and helped them get their dragon, they started again and the low level ran off and his high level friend followed, another 5 people joined and helped me kill this dragon, I got the drop a strength ammy.
I couldn't be bothered to fight anymore so teled away.
