How to raise construction quickly

Construction is an easy and fast skill to raise, if you have lots and I mean lots of money.
It is best to plan your house before building it, when you start building your house you want every room you can have! this is fine but there will be a stage when the novelty has worn off and you want to treat your house as a tool to help you with your everyday Runescape activities, this may involve removing rooms to place them in order to be utilised effectively, I will discuss this in more depth later.
First get your house, to do this speak to any estate agents around Runescape, take eight buckets and a pickaxe and go to your house portal in Rimmington and build a parlour.
Just outside your portal to the north east is a mining area, fill up your inventory with clay, then go to the water area just south of your portal and fill your buckets with water, use your water with the clay to make soft clay, repeat filling buckets with water until you have all soft clay in your inventory, enter your house in building mode and build a fireplace, then remove and build again until all your clay has gone, repeat this until you can make oak chairs or continue for as long as you want free xp (You should bare in mind that this process is very slow).
As soon as you can make oak chairs you will start to make good progress unfortunately this is when you need to start to use money, chop oak trees and take the logs and money to the sawmill, just south of the lumberyard north east of Varrock, pay him to turn them into planks.
Make and remove oak chairs until you can make oak larders, this is when the levels fly up and your bank account flies down, you can choose to make other oak items before you can make larders, this will speed up the building progress, (Every plank you use adds to the xp for that action so you will get twice the xp, if you use 4 planks instead of using 2 planks your xp will go up twice as quick).
To speed things up hire a butler, you need 2 bedrooms and 2 beds and a dining room is handy so you can have a bell to call them, hire the best you can get.
If you have a butler take all the oak logs you have noted and a lot of money your saw and your hammer, go to your house and build a kitchen, use the noted logs with the butler and ask them to change them to un-noted logs, when they return us the logs with the butler and send them to the saw mill,
When they come back with planks build an oak larder and remove and build again until all your planks are gone then repeat, you can repeat this process until all your logs or money is gone all the way to 99 construction.
Although you can use teak or mahogany logs to raise your level quicker it is very expensive.
It is nice to have all fancy rooms but after a while breaking a marble block or playing coits gets a bit boring, it is best to build a house to be useful from day 1, you might be a level 24 combat level now but planning for the future could save you some money later.
For example you may wish to do Kalphite Queen hunting, the house can be optimised for this, layout so you can tele to house using a tablet run to the altar to recharge prayer and then on to the quest hall to tele back to Al kharid using your wall mounted glory ready to go again.
Or set up for Barrows tele to house pray at the altar then on to the portal room and tele to Canafis (Kharyrll teleport).
You can not make money out of construction even at higher levels, it is a skill for the rich, but if you have the money it can be built quickly the first player to 99 construction did it in about 6 days.
