I have written several times about the effects of random drops on Runescape, a recent situation that I have experienced is since I have been killing Dark Beasts I have probably had about 5 or 6 dark Bow drops, I am 99 slayer so I have killed a fair few in my time, over the last week I have had 3 tasks for dark Beasts and during those tasks I have had 5 dark Bows dropped, killing abyssal demons I haven't had a whip for many tasks, such is the randomness of drops. more »

The main complaint I see is that you don't get skill xp from it just combat, I am sure there was a reason for Jagex not giving skill xp in the first place but I would be very surprised if they don't change things so that the skilling aspect of the game is recognised. more »
