I have written several times about the effects of random drops on Runescape, a recent situation that I have experienced is since I have been killing Dark Beasts I have probably had about 5 or 6 dark Bow drops, I am 99 slayer so I have killed a fair few in my time, over the last week I have had 3 tasks for dark Beasts and during those tasks I have had 5 dark Bows dropped, killing abyssal demons I haven't had a whip for many tasks, such is the randomness of drops. more »

It may just be that I was lucky never getting randoms but it seems too much of a coincidence, especially when fishing randoms come in phases and everyone around me was getting randoms on numerous occasions and I never had 1. more »
