Runescape Game Play

These are the most recent of the treasure rewards I have had received from level 3 clues.

Treasure trails are a common drop from many Runescape monsters, they come in the form of a clue scroll that is dropped by the clue scroll dropping monsters.

They come in 3 levels ranging in difficulty level 1 being the easiest and going up to level 3, level 3 clue scrolls may involve a trip to deep wildy and fighting a Zamorak wizard, not very difficult to kill but can hit very hard with mage and he has a dds or dd++ as it is now called so he can poison you as well, although more difficult the prizes are so much more valuable.

The easiest way to get a clue scroll is to train slayer, most slayer monsters drop clue scrolls, there was a time I used to stop training slayer to do a clue as soon as I got it, I could normally get 2 or 3 clue scrolls in 1 assignment, now I have had so many I wait untill I need to bank or finish the assignment.

Level 1 Clue Scroll are dropped by the following:
Afflicted, Men/Woman (level-2), Al-Kharid Warrior, Banshee, Barbarian, Cave slime, Farmer, Fremennik Citizen, Goblin, H.A.M Guard, H.A.M. Member, Minotaur, Mugger, Ogre coffins, Rock Crab, Rogue, Thug, Thief,

Level 2 Clue Scroll are dropped by the following:
Abyssal Leech, Catablepon, Cyclops, Dagannoth, Fremennik Warrior, Guard, Harpie Bug Swarm, Ice Warrior, Jogre, Jungle horror, Men/Women (level-24)(Wolfman/women), Mort'ton Black/Steel Chests, Paladin, Pyrefiend, Sea Snake Hatchling, Skeleton, Tribesman, Vampire.

Level 3 Clue Scroll are dropped by the following:
Aberrant Specter, Abyssal Demon, Ankou, Black Dragon, Blue Dragon, Bronze Dragon, Cave horror, Cyclops, Elf Warrior, Gargoyle, Greater Demon, Green Dragon, Hellhound, Iron Dragon, Jelly, Kurask, Mort'ton Silver Chests, Nechryael, Red Dragon, Steel Dragon, Suqah, Turoth.

The one of the best ways to get a level 3 clue is to kill Hellhounds, these can be ranged or maged at Taverly dungeon, they only drop bones and clues so you can stay as long as your ammo lasts. A better way is to kill jellies these are one of the lowest level monsters that drop level 3 clues but you need level 52 slayer to kill.

Th easiest way to get a level 2 clue is to kill guards outside the Burthorpe games room, they drop some good loot such as mith bodies and war hammers and very often a clue, I have been there many times just passing through and kill a few until I get a clue, in fact I spent a few hours there getting clue doing it going back getting another etc.

The easiest way to get a level 1 clue is to kill barbarians in the Barbarian village, I went there with a friend once and received and completed 3 clues by the time he got 1.
