Ranting for rantings sake, is Runescape breading the critics of the future?
Read the Runescape Official Forum or any other Runescape dedicated forum around and you will see lots of people complaining about anything and everything! look at the size of the Rants forum on the RSOF.
We all have things we dont like, we all like to complain about things from time to time but reading some of the rants its as if people want to just hear their own voices, the rants are just so rediculous or petty.
People rant about the new look of the skill capes, the wilderness wall, the new skill icons when they were introduced and hundreds of tiny little things.
I can understand people saying to their friends "I dont like the new ....." but to take the time to add a rant to the forum to complain about something trivial as soon as its introduced and not wait to see if it fixed later, I have even seen people saying they hate something just from reading the Runescape information without trying it.
There are poeple who rant about what people say in Runescape, people seem to be alergic to the Ignore button, you do not need to take any notice of what other people say, if a player says your a noob and should get members that does not mean your a noob and should get members it means their a noob and you can do what you want to do or what you see as appropriate for YOUR situation. its not Jagex's fault the players say you need members its not the person saying you need members fault its yours for taking any notice.
Jagex spend a lot of time creating new content for our game, they spend a lot of time testing it, it is however a huge game and to test every single part as every single character with every single clothing and every single piece of armour would take years, ask Microsoft, they have the same situation, just look at their service packs and individual updates for serious security issues, a multi million dollar company selling a product with more bugs than a termite mound.
Next time you see an update you don't like think before abusing Jagex, by all means let them know your feeling and possibly suggest ways to improve on it, stand back and think could it be a bug with a new update and give them chance to sort things out.

If I was a RuneScape developer, I know I would rather have either constructive criticism or in-depth suggestions. I don't think the majority of "moaners" understand what it takes to develop one of the most popular MMORPGs available.
