zachI agree. I myself am probly going to quit runescape because of the update(s). Not because of "polar bears will eat us," or nonsense like that, but because most of my main interests in the game have been shot down and killed. :S. All there reallky is to do is work towards a range skill cape and lose money in Bounty Hunter. Aye aye !

Merch GwyarI was quite pleased with the idea of +1 for farming, when talking to a dreadfowl, until I tried it out.

At level 66, I had a cadantine seed to plant. The dreadfowl gave me a temporary boost to level 67 and the seed was planted. I got the xp for that and all was well.

Then I went to harvest it. I received a handful of herbs, which were very lovely, but no harvesting xp. That was quite a substantial loss, insofar as farming is a slow skill to train, so you need all the xp you can get.

Alching pets?! :o Is there a Runescape equivalent of the RSPCA?

George MillerYou can easily recoup some of the shard cost by alching the pouches. The formula seems to be shards used x 15 plus 254 = high alch value.

I stopped using charms at Lvl 65 summoning so that I can get some free exp from tears and lamps before the big push to 99. I'll continue to collect the charms until I can go to 99. Yes there are benefits to using pouches; but to be honest that can come later as I feel more updates will make this skill a little more usable in the future.
